Q When reporting on the progress and status of a project, your Stakeholders want to know what potential pitfalls or obstacles you have identified, and what your plan is for dealing with them. Toward that end, this week, you are to add an additional section to your Status report. The new section should look as follows: Open Risk Probability Impact Response Type Response Plan Identify at least two "risks" that could impact your ability to complete this week's assignments, and complete the table. These are NOT risks pertaining to the Running Case - they should be things which might impact YOU this week and cause your work to be late. (You can make some up if you honestly don't have any...) The remainder of your Status Report should be completed as in prior weeks. Missing information causes an inability to properly assess the project and whether it is going well or in jeopardy. 40 pts 40 pts All activities for the week are reflected in the report. All status (RAG) are provided. Proper explanations for any Amber or Red statuses are given. Comments and explanations (if any) are clear and meaningful. 24 pts 25 pts Some weekly activities are omitted. RAG Status are missing or not properly explained. 0 pts 10 pts Significant missing information, or information provided is not relevant to the weekly activities. No explanation for Amber and Red statuses. 40 pts This criterion is linked to a Learning OutcomeTimeliness Status reports are provided to project stakeholders on a regular basis. Late or skipped status reports created an added communication burden, and can negatively impact the credibility of the project manager. 40 pts 40 pts Status report was submitted by the due date. 24 pts 25 pts Status report was submitted 1-2 days late. 0 pts 0 pts Status report was submitted more than 2 days late. 40 pts This criterion is linked to a Learning OutcomeFormat, Spelling/Grammar/Punctuation Status reports need to be in a consistent format, with correct spelling/grammar and punctuation in order to minimize miscommunications with project stakeholders. 20 pts 20 pts Status report uses the provided template with no spelling/grammar/punctuation errors. 12 pts 15 pts Status report uses the provided template but has some spelling/grammar/punctuation errors. 0 pts 0 pts Status report is riddled with spelling/grammar/punctuation errors or does not use the provided template. 20 pts Total Points: 100
